The
heart is one of the most involved and most problematic organs. According to
statistics, the annual number of sudden cardiac death in our country reaches
hundreds of thousands, corresponding to a small city's population sum.
When
the load of the heart is aggravated or muscle damage, their pumping function is
reduced, and the output of blood cannot meet the needs of organs and tissues. At
the same time, the blood in them can't return smoothly to the heart. This state
called heart failure, for short "heart failure ".Impaired cardiac
function may be indicated in some of the following symptoms are present.
First, chest tightness and shortness of breath
Shortness
of breath appears after lying down for a few minutes and can only be slightly
relieved after sitting up. At this time, the patient should be considered to
have heart failure.
If the chest is heavy like a boulder, at this time, the patient should be considered to have possible myocardial ischemia. If chest tightness persists for several minutes and cannot be relieved, or even severe pain in the chest, angina pectoris or even acute myocardial infarction (referred to as "heart attack") is likely to occur.
Second, loss of appetite
In addition to the loss of appetite, patients with impaired heart function may also have abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting, constipation and epigastric pain, which is mostly caused by right heart failure and gastrointestinal stasis.
Third, dizziness
Dizziness and dizziness are relatively common in daily life, and poor sleep, cervical spondylosis and hypertension are common causes. However, dizziness accompanied by markedly low blood pressure may be caused by impaired cardiac function and so on, and severe cases may also present with syncope, cardiogenic shock and other life-threatening conditions, at which point they should seek prompt medical attention.
Fourth,
anxiety
Most
normal anxiety is related to emotions, while some people still feel
palpitations, panic, fidgeting when emotions are stable, which should be
considered whether there is heart disease. Increased heart rate and arrhythmia
are common causes of panic and anxiety, mostly caused by functional or organic
changes in the heart and early intervention should be made to prevent further
aggravation of symptoms.
Fifth,
easily fatigued or tired all day long
Many
heart disease patients start with weakness or fatigue, mostly due to impaired
left heart function, reduced cardiac output, and inability to meet peripheral
tissue perfusion.
Sixth, coughing
Most people have a cold with cough and fever symptoms, and the cough does not vary significantly during the day and night. However, some people do not have other cold-like symptoms such as fever, but only have a cough that does not stop, more at night then at night, and is more pronounced when lying down than when sitting up, so be alert to the possibility of damage to cardiac function.
